Admission to Barnhart School is open to all students regardless of race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, or gender. The goal of admissions is to enroll motivated students whose previous school experience and academic achievements, or academic promise, indicate they can be successful in Barnhart's rigorous academic program. Equally important are the student's citizenship, attitude and effort in school. The willingness of both the student and parents to work within Barnhart's goals, philosophy, and standards as stated in the Parent Student Handbook and the Enrollment Contract are considered, too.
There are 40 openings available on an annual basis in Kindergarten. In grades one through eight, admission is limited and dependant upon the number of openings as a result of re-enrollment. Acceptance to our school is selective. A Wait Pool exists for students who are qualified and waiting for a space to open in the grade desired to enter.
