A message from Mrs. Jacobs:
The learning of a foreign language requires the commitment of practicing and studying constantly. In order to truly learn an additional language it is crutial to dedicate study time at home.
I highly recommend that parents encourage students to study Spanish for a period of at least 3 hours a week in addition to the time that students study the language at Barnhart School.
I know from personal experience that it can be intimidating to try to speak a new language, but it is important for parents to encourage students to try their best and not worry about their pronounciation.
