Our focus for November will be:

Literacy--Letterbooks  T, F, and E

We're working on blending letters sounds to

make words. 

We are enjoying the stories we're reading during

guided reading time.

Writing Workshop--Small moments

Math--higher level thinking skills and critical thinking through the use of patterns, comparing

and contrasting numbers

Social Studies--On November 4th, we voted for the new president of our country.  We even had our own polling place and voting booth!

We'll continue to learn about historical figures in our country's past

Science--We will explore the states of matter using our five senses. 

In music we are working on our songs for the

Christmas program!  Can you believe that it is

almost December?
