Barnhart School’s BPG sponsored our 27th annual Pancake Breakfast Saturday, March 8, 2008. Family and friends brought their appetites and had tons of fun. Thank you to our parent and student volunteers who made this traditional event so much fun.
The Barnhart 5K and Fun Run was a huge success, thanks to the leadership of Mrs. Richey and Mr. Avila. Sponsored by the After School Sports Program, more than 70 participants received T-Shirts and as much exercise as they could handle. Before the race Mrs. Richey lead the runners through a series of warm-up activities and then Mr. Avila started the race. A special thank-you to our parent volunteers and students, who helped with check-in and lined the route.
Congratulations to Matt in 6th grade for winning the race with a time of 23:13, to Adian in 3rd grade who came in second place with a time of 25:20 and Jamison in 7th grade who came in third place with a time of 26:00. Mr. Brennan was the first parent to cross the finish line. |
