Class Trips
Field Study Each year, Barnhart students travel for extended field study opportunities. Our students get a taste of the real world. With this firsthand exposure to new places, people, and ideas, they open their eyes and expand their knowledge. Field study also builds a sense of community among students through shared experiences.
When students interact with the world around them, they become actively engaged in learning. A dynamic environment sparks a very engaging learning process. Reaching the total child with real-life experiences appeals to various learning styles and multiple intelligences. Not every child learns best through paper-and-pencil methods. You can't always read and visualize.
