LIBRARY RESOURCES AND SERVICES

 


The mission of Barnhart School’s library media center is to support the school curriculum, students, parents, teachers, and staff into the 21st century.  The librarian motivates reading for pleasure and promotes learning as a life-long goal.  The library endeavors to provide library materials and access to current, adequate and appropriate information resources.  Information literacy is taught (efficient and ethical research skills).

Library Hours of Operation:
Monday                      11:00am to 4:00pm
Tuesday- Thursday      10:00am to 4:00pm
Friday                         11:00am to 3:00pm
Open during recess and lunch periods.

 

 

Winning entries were based on the promotion of our reading theme "A Time to Read, as Always," and the most creative or original illustration or art work.  Winners were found in each classroom from K-6th grade and one winner was found in grades 7th and 8th.  The winners from left to right are Dylan, Justin, Emma, Olivia, Aileen, Latasha, Catherine, Amanda, Jacob, Travis, Whei-Hsin and Alexandra.  The book markers will be on display at the library from March 1-12.
