Dress Code

 

The Barnhart standard uniform is a white, navy or red polo shirt or turtleneck. Shirts may be crested with the Barnhart logo or must be completely plain. Students may wear khaki or navy pants, shorts, skirts, or skorts, (jumpers for K-4th only).Nothing other than the Barnhart logo is allowed.

Dress uniform is worn every Wednesday and on certain special occasions.Dress uniform is a crested white polo with navy pants, shorts, skirt, or skort (jumpers for K-4th only).

Shoes must be closed heel and toe. Tennis shoes are preferred.

Navy blue crewneck sweatshirts and uniform sweaters are the only outerwear allowed in the classrooms.

No hooded or zippered sweatshirts.

Hair must be worn so as not to be a distraction or cover the eyes. Boy’s hair length must be above their uniform collar. Only natural hair colors are acceptable on both boys and girls.

Shorts & skirt hems can be no higher than 4" above the center of the knee and must be no longer than the center of the knee.

 

Shirts must be tucked in to, from, and in all classrooms throughout the day.

 

 

Free dress days are on Fridays. Students must wear school-appropriate clothes.
