Head of School Search

After 25 years in our community as a parent, teacher, administrator, and head of school, Tonya Beilstein will conclude her service at Barnhart School at the end of the 2022-2023 school year. She and her husband will be making the move out of state to be closer to family. We are grateful for her dedication to Barnhart, its mission and vision and for her steady leadership over the past seven years as our head of school.  It is with Bobcat pride that we congratulate her and wish her well as she embarks on this new chapter in her life. 

It is the  primary responsibility of the Barnhart Board of Trustees to ensure the continuity of leadership and advance the mission for the school. The school board is taking the appropriate next steps in this leadership transition. The Executive Task Force which is composed of several Barnhart School board members, as well as a Santa Anita Church Board member, formed a Head of School Search Team who will work closely with Tracy Bennett, partner at the search firm Educators Collaborative to lead the search for highly-qualified head of school candidates for Barnhart’s next head of school.
