Applying to Barnhart
STEP 1 - Apply Online
To begin the Online Application process, Create an Account. Then log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application.
After submitting the application, you will be able to track online your admissions status at the school by logging in to your account. There you will be able to print the completed applications, monitor when the school receives supplemental application forms and, if necessary, reprint the supplemental forms.
STEP 2 - Complete Supplemental Forms
- Submit Birth Certificate
- Parent Questionnaire
- Student Questionnaire - For applicants 5th grade and up
- Preschool Recommendation - For Kindergarten Applicants
STEP 3 - Transcripts
Transcripts must be included with the application for students applying to 1st-8th grade. Please have your student's current school send the transcripts to us directly. You will find the Request for Transcripts form in your online account.
STEP 4 - Teacher Recommendation
For students applying to grades 1 through 4, a teacher recommendation needs to be sent to our admissions office by February 1st. The form can be found in the application supplemental documents. Two teacher recommendations are needed for students applying to the 5-8th grades. It is preferred that we receive one from the student's Math teacher and one from the English teacher.
STEP 5 - Online Meet
Once the Admissions Office has received all the required forms, A Zoom Meeting will be scheduled for you and your student. Grades K-5 will have an online assessment. Grades 6-8 will meet with the Middle School Director.
