STEP 1 - Inquire

The first step in connecting with our Admissions Team is to fill out the Request More Information form. Our Admissions Office will contact you shortly to schedule a tour, review general information about our program and answer any specific questions you might have.

STEP 2 - Apply Online

To begin the Online Application process, Create an Account. Then log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application.

After submitting the application, you will be able to track online your admissions status at the school by logging in to your account. There you will be able to print the completed applications, monitor when the school receives supplemental application forms and, if necessary, reprint the supplemental forms.

STEP 3 - Student Visit

When the Admissions Office has received your completed application, we will reach out to schedule your child's visit to our campus. For Kindergarten this will be a Saturday in February, while students applying to grades 1-8 will join us for a half-day during the week.

STEP 4 - Teacher Recommendation

For students applying to grades 1 through 4 a teacher recommendation needs to be sent to our admissions office by February 1st. The form can be found in the application supplemental documents. Two teacher recommendations are needed for students applying to the 5-8th grades. It is preferred that we receive one from the student's Math teacher and one from the English teacher. 

STEP 5 - Transcripts

Transcripts must be included with the application for students applying to 1st-8th grade. Please have your student's current school send the transcripts to us directly.  You will find the Request for Transcripts form in your online account.

STEP 6 - Kindergarten Evaluation

Please register between September 15 and December 15 for an evaluation at our partner Integrated Learning Solutions (ILS). 

STEP 7 - Grades 1-4 Testing

All students applying for grades 1-4 will be assessed when they join us for their half day visit.  

STEP 8 - Grades 5-7 Testing

All students applying for grades 5-7 must take the Independent School Entrance Exam. Please register on the ISEE website and have the test completed and sent to Barnhart no later than February 1st.
