2019 Gala: Denim & Diamonds
Dear Barnhart Community,
The gala is coming! We can’t wait to see your best ‘Denim and Diamonds’ attire at the Altadena
Town and Country Club on April 13. It’s going to be a spectacular evening with top notch
entertainment, unbeatable company, and a few surprises! One of the highlights of the evening
will be our silent and live auctions. In order to make them the best they can be, WE NEED
Each Barnhart family is encouraged to donate at least $50 of value (item, gift card, cash, etc.) to
the auction efforts. This can be something from your home or business, but it could also be
something you procure from a business or restaurant you deal with regularly.
Remember, this is a great opportunity for businesses to get
exposure to our amazing community of parents, and this year’s silent auction will be online, so
word can spread even beyond our estimated 125-150 guests!
Here are some examples of great auction donations…
*event tickets or suites (sports, concerts, etc) *vacation home stays *hotel stays
*round of golf *wine tasting *gift cards to stores and restaurants *spa services
*airline miles *amusement park passes *private chef dinner party *family photo session
Please be sure to fill out a donation form for each donation and deliver it, along with the item if it
is in hand, to Silvana’s office. There will be a folder for the forms there.
In addition to the auction, we will be raffling off an “instant wine cellar.” Please consider
donating a bottle of your favorite wine, in addition to your auction donation. It can be dropped
off in Silvana’s office. Please note your donation on the “Wine Donation” form so that you can
be properly thanked.

Share your FAVORITE bottle of WINE for the
Wine Cellar Raffle
We are creating an instant wine cellar to be raffled at the Gala on April 13th and we
need your help. We are asking that every family donate a bottle of wine. There will
be special pens in the office so you can sign your bottle to commemorate your wine cellar contribution.
Please have all wine bottles in the main office by March 29, 2019.

We gratefully acknowledge the contributions our staff members make to Barnhart School each day, and we share this special evening with them in so many ways. Your donation, in any amount, will help offset the ticket cost and make it possible for our teachers and staff to attend Barnhart's Denim & Diamonds Gala.
